Suicide Pact Twins

The parents of the Australian twin sisters who shot themselves at a Colorado firing range arrived in Denver on Friday to speak to their surviving daughter in hospital.

Police have confirmed the identities of the twins, saying that Kristin Hermeler had died while her sister Candice survived but was seriously wounded.

Each twin shot themselves in the head simultaneously Monday in a suicide pact.

Among the twins belongings, they found a copy of a Time magazine issued May 3, 1999 which featured the Columbine killers.

While the police have closed this case and the family is looking for peace and understanding at this time, we're faced with the question, why?

There was no suicide note left behind by the twins and the surviving twin has not shared any details with the media.

It will probably become a forgotten blurb until the next suicide pact hits the news.

To the surviving twin......Candace

To survive a suicide attempt can bring all sorts of emotions. From outrage, panic, despair, more suicidal thoughts, even relief. Sometimes these emotions can happen all at once. I urge you to seek the help that you need. Suicide is not the answer.

To the twin who has passed.....Kristin
