Tanay, Tito, The Jacksons, and The Common Cold
What do all of these
things have in common?
Well the first name
that is mentioned in the title.
Tanay Jackson.
She took to WMVL
radio and spoke about her recent appearance on the Jacksons: The Next
Generation on television and the interview was a disaster. This is Manhanttanville College Radio. Yeah.
First off, I'd like to say whoever handles her career needs to teach her that you don’t chew candy or eat anything while on the air. That crackling sound she was making with the bag is a distraction to people actually listening to the interview. Now that we've gotten common sense out of the way, let's dig to the not so common sense statements that she made.
I'm not sure if the
interviewers were putting her on or not but if that was journalism, it's dead.
They asked no follow up questions questioning her many questionable statements.
She also disrepected the family matriarch by nearly calling her Bitch. That's right. She did that. At 18:36. IT IS OUTRAGEOUS! For someone to do so much media, she should know that the Jacksons are a loved family and not many of them will stand to see Katherine talked bad about. The media may not give them the respect they deserve, but they are loved and highly respected.
UPDATE 11-14-15 THE VIDEO HAS BEEN REMOVED. Due to the public backlash the station received about the poorly received video, the station saw fit to remove it so the link does not work. Sorry about that.

folks and it's horrible from start to finish. It's just a bash session about
the Jacksons. She talks about how they are jealous of her career because they
only have eleven songs in fifteen years while her career is popping and "they've
made me more famous" braggadocio.
She states that the
Jermaine Jackson walk on was a set up and that she met him before at the family
reunion, where Joe Jackson stood up for her. She states that she tried calling
him but they wouldn't let Joe answer the phone. Can you believe that someone
wont let Joe Jackson answer a phone? Nonsense.
She then states that
she has the DNA test where at least 9-11 markers were a match. You need more than 11 matches to prove half sibling hood but that's to be understood. She doesn’t
understand genetics. I have more than a rudimentary understanding of it. She assumes that the rest of the world is ignorant and she is the one that can outsmart us all. The only thing is, very few people call her out on her bullshit to her face, or she just shuts down and blocks you.
She stated that she
was minding her own business and they were bothering her. I find it funny to
make that statement because she wasn't minding her own business. She was
commenting on their lives constantly in the media. Perhaps if she didn’t
designate herself as an unofficial official spokesperson for the family and speaking
out, since these people treat her so bad,
maybe they would "leave her alone". How can you be living your own life when commenting on Jackson drama in the media?
She also states that
this series received their biggest ratings when she was on television and that
it was a boon for Lifetime network as well. Did she think that we were not going to check these things?

Where was the
ratings boon for her episode that aired on the 16th? The numbers fell and came
in 77th for Friday night against all the other shows airing at that time.
This is the show for "The Mother of All Confrontations" where it is discerned that she is not their sister. This was not a boon for Lifetime as she stated on the radio program. Since the last episode, she was responsible for a .08 change in the share. So, this is not true. Hardly worth a bump.

during the time the show aired and you will see that she was not being
truthful. I didn't make this information up but was easily googled. Those young
ladies in the video, could have done so but they were so busy fawning over a
liar.
BUT THIS IS A BLOG THAT DEALS WITH SUICIDE.
In the video, she claims that she had a suicide attempt with whiskey and sleeping pills. This is serious. This shows that she seriously needs help. She needs to stop doing interviews and get the help that she really needs. See someone professionally and stop defending this nonsense. She's not the worst artist in the world. She needs to go and focus on the music if that is what's important to her.
But the nonsense continues in this interview.
"Taj is self
destructive." My career is fine, I'm on the charts. I don’t see them on
the chart." "I'm a bit more relevant than they are...not being cocky."
These statements are the statements of someone delusional. Either she's malicious or she's delusional. Either way there is a serious problem.
She also states when asked is there a picture of she and Michael. She states, "Yes after he died." This made the interviewers look at her strangely, when she cleared it up and said there is a picture of us together, with him on the wall in a poster. OH...that so counts. Yes, let me say I have a picture of Michael on the wall. Does that count? Hell no. Not in a million years. But do her interviewers call her out on it, no. This is just a bitch session and Tanay is the Queen. They challenge nothing she says, even when she's contradictory and just makes no sense. She's even heavily offensive many times in the interview.
I understand that she has to save face throughout this thing, but this is horrible. She even alluded to the "horrible things that the Jacksons have gotten away with". She states that they are always in her business because she is strong. She's doing all these things without the Jacksons, but she does them based on the fact that she is a part of the Jackson family. This is a huge red flag but the interviewers don't check her on that.

At the end of the interview, she states that she is an "herbalist" and she has these natural cures for the common cold. She knows how to cure the common cold. That's something that science can't even explain and anyone with a rudimentary knowledge of science knows that due to mutation of viruses, it is impossible to cure the common cold because of the many strains that are known (and unknown) that causes humans to get sick. But thank goodness for Tanay, she has the answer. What she is doing is alleviating symptoms, not curing the common cold but you can't tell her that. No sir. She can cure the common cold and if we just listen to her infinite wisdom, we can all be like her.
