The Funny Thing About Something That's Not So Funny: Possible Mental Illness Diagnosis
Tila Tequila was not happy with "JewBook"* or otherwise known as Facebook the other day when they pulled some of her anti-semitic rants and banned her from posting for thirty days on the site. Apparently after converting to Judaism just months prior, Ms. Tequila has gone to an extreme and made some horrible remarks about the Jewish people, Nazis, Adolph Hitler, and the Holocaust.
It is speculated widely and I'm not sure if it has ever been confirmed that Tila suffered at one point from mental illness, had a brain aneurism, and suffered from a drug overdose. I'm sure these incidents may have left her with some side effects because they all can be quite traumatizing.
Some people would look at the article that she posted on her blog as a treatise on how she has sympathized with Hitler because she was taught that he was a monster and that was simply to be believed because it was told to her as everyone, instead of letting her form her own opinion.
Now she sets out to do the same thing with this blog piece by trying to offer up "new" information on Hitler. I guess these are things that are new to Tila but not new to those who are familiar with the history of that time. She offers up some remnants of "evidence" that Hitler was compassionate and that he didn't want genocide, but it is the same drivel that revisionists have been passing off as evidence for years now.
There is nothing new or earth shattering on the blog.
What is evident here is that this is a young woman that obviously needs help. Those looking for another Holocaust revisionist buddy should find another tree to bark around. Is she just doing this for attention? She just happened to mention that Paul Walker, who died in a car accident, was murdered.
IF someone is suffering from mental illness, I cringe when people compare them to attention whores or someone looking for the spotlight. We are speaking of a person who has some sort of celebrity status under her belt. Instead of figuring out the root of her problem, we push a microphone and a camera in her face and wait for the ridiculous sound bytes to come out of her mouth. Who cares if they make her look foolish! We just need something to blog about and bring thousands of visitors to their blogs at her expense.
I am well versed on World War Two, Adolph Hitler, Nazism, Germany, and can speak conversational German. This post is not meant or intended to debate the Holocaust deniers and naysayers (although I'm ready at any time to take you on with your lies and nonsense) this is not what the post is about.
I am not trained in psychology nor have I examined anyone. However, if someone converts to a religion in a short amount of time and then comes out and speaks against that group of people in a inciting and disgraceful manner, something is wrong.
Besides, even someone of her "meager" celebrity status is in danger of poisoning young minds with that dangerous rhetoric.
She needs attention and I'm not talking about a new reality show. She needs someone to sit her down and figure out what is wrong. I hope soon.
I surely hopes that she takes good care of herself in the future.
*Tila Tequila referred to Facebook as "JewBook" in a post on a social media site. I just wanted to clarify that it was a quote and not a statement made by me or this blog...nor do I ascribe to any of Tila's beliefs
