Suicide High?

http://www.nbcbayarea.com/news/local/Suicide-High-School-Gets-Relief-From-Ranking.html

One child made an attempted suicide ,two children committed suicide recently and in recent years, two Palo Alto High School students committed suicide on the CalTrain tracks. Steven Wertheimer died in 2002 and Ben Tachibana died in 2003.

And this is just what I found online. I'm sure there are many other stories of attempted and successful suicides on these tracks.

(Forgive my use of the word successful)

This particular news outlet decided to do a story about "Suicide High". This article is referring to  Gunn High School in Palo Alto, CA.

Even though the intent of the article was to state that the school ranked pretty high as a great school to attend, the author of the article decided to refer to the school as "Suicide High"

Insensitive much?

I think this just encourages the wrong type of attitude. We should be looking for solutions as to why these kids are committing suicide at the alarming rate that they are.

Not looking for titles.
