RIP Kenny McKinnley
Denver Broncos wide receiver Kenny McKinley was found dead in his apartment Monday in an apparent suicide.
According to a police report, he appeared to have died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. However the report says that the investigation is ongoing.
Some of the comments that I have heard about this story are deeply disturbing. So just because someone has everything going on for them on the outside, doesn't tell the story of what is going on inside.
You can't judge a person until you've walked a mile in their shoes. Cliche, forgive me, but it is true. We don't know what demons this young man was facing in his life. Perhaps not living up to expectations that others presented him with.
Whatever the cause, anytime, ANYONE commits suicide, it is a tragedy for us all.
RIP Kenny. I hope that your soul finds peace.
